Click the button Menu, to open the menu section.
The page navigation of a website defines how the single web pages are linked with each other. The navigation menus are parts of the selected layout template. In each template there should be at least one menu. The single buttons of a menu can be arranged hierarchically. In some cases, mainly for optical reasons, a maximal number of buttons is defined in the menu definition of the layout template. EWP will advert (but not inhibit) you when you have exceeded the maximal recommended number of buttons.
In the following the different parts of the menu section and there functionality are explained in detail.
In the left area of the menu section there is a hierarchical list in which the different menues and their included buttons are listed - depending on the selected layout template. Buttons can contain sub-buttons and so on. The single menu-buttons can be organized by the buttons beneath the list:
| Adds a new menu-button in the same menu and at the same level as the currently selected menu-button. If a menu is selected, the menu-button will be added at the end of the other buttons of this menu. | |
| Removes the selected button. | |
| Adds a new menu-button one level beneath the currently selected button or menu. | |
| Moves the selected button one position up. | |
| Moves the selected button one position down. |
